Evolved from Form+Function Design which began in 2009, Ian Shaw Architecture has been carefully and rigorously establishing, project by project, a design aesthetic that balances traditional and modern design principles to form a timeless appeal.

ISA collaborates with extremely talented professionals including Interior Designers and Landscape Architects providing a custom fit for what each project requires. This enables ISA to deliver complete designs that clients with Residential, Hospitality and Commercial project types come to expect, and beyond what they conceived could be achieved; the "WOW!" factor. 

Ian Shaw Greenberg manages each project from kick-off meeting thru concept design thru construction to client occupancy. Ian, a New York native, graduated with a Master of Architecture degree from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1999 and began his career in Miami with international firm Sieger/ Suarez. Upon moving back to New York he continued his career development working at international firms Ismael Leyva and Robert A.M. Stern as well as high-end single family residential firms on the North Shore of Long Island. It was during his successful tenure at these firms that he was able to hone his design foundation, attention to detail in all aspects of a project, and relationships with clients.

Upon going out on his own in 2009, and in the worst economic climate in our lifetimes, Ian was able to build his practice with luxury oceanfront custom home projects in his hometown of Long Beach, New York for high profile clientele.  Working repeatedly with a few  excellent and reliable builders, ISA heads a full team to make your project a success and a rewarding experience.
